Hank Gulickx-Burg
After graduating from the Academy for Expression through Word and Gesture (the present-day theater faculty of the HKU), Hank has held many positions as a drama teacher and as a drama therapist. He was, among other things, full-time affiliated with the then Kopse Hof (nowadays a course of study at HAN), starting as a drama teacher at the MBOIW (Secondary Vocational Training in Institutional Work). In 1978 he was the initiator and co-founder of the creative therapy course: music, drama, visual arts and dance, at the then Kopse Hof (the present vocational therapy course at HAN). During his studies, Hank was already affiliated with the van der Hoevekliniek in Utrecht as a drama therapist. After that he worked, among other things, on Veluweland in Ederveen and Groot Batelaar in Lunteren. He was also founder of the Institute for Creative Interactions and co-founder of ECArTE (European Consortium for Arts Therapies Education). Since 2000, he and Harry have been the gallery owner of the De Buytensael gallery in Arnhem. Hank is a member of the Supervisory and Advisory Board of the CCC Foundation.
